I won't sacrifize usb 3.0 only because mad catz/saitek is not able to develop a proper driver for their x52. Imho, disabling xHCI as a workaround is a not acceptable solution. They let the x52 behave in really interesting ways, which you really don't want to see on your own pc. Good luck to future people coming across this and I hope one of these things works for you!Īs far as I have found out on my search for a solution the X52 (pro) has significant problems with the Intel usb drivers. That didn't do the trick on it's own, but might be part of the solution nonetheless. I also did install the beta drivers before trying these 3 things. Asp Explorer's comment led me to try this. Fun! Another post about the xHCI thing.ĭisable enhanced power management. Yeah computer wouldn't reboot, and my ethernet internet access crashed when I plugged in a joystick. I was experiencing some of these problems on Win10 and ALL of them previously on Win7. Can't find the post that suggested it.ĭisable xHCI in BIOS. Could this really be all that was needed? I don't know but it is working now. Play with the X52 Flight Controller Properties open. Now that I finally have a working stick I haven't had the heart to narrow down which of these 3 things actually did the trick, so for now they are a batch solution. Basically creating an extreme trim on all 3 joystick axis. My issue was that my stick would recenter itself and the lights would flash mid dogfight. News, banter, CG & GalNet updates, and a bit of music tooįor others in case their issue is different, I combined 3 things that finally fixed my months and months long issues with my X52 Pro on multiple versions of Windows.
